Overview:
Janet is a new graduate and a newly hired Registered Nurse at a large Medical Center with a starting salary of $60,000. She has no children and is currently single. Like most new graduates Janet has incurred some loans that she would love to pay off. She is also excited about her new career and has many plans for her new income.
Of course she wants to splurge, but can she afford it? She definitely does not want to work for the rest of her life or end up living her nightmare at retirement working at Walmart. Janet would like to save some of her income not only for a rainy day but for retirement as well. She realizes that with her new success she now has a greater responsibility. She realizes that she needs to develop a plan, a financial plan to manage her money properly.
But where should she start?
Lets help each of her personalities accomplish this task to help Janet establish a financial plan. The roles are specific to the new R.N.'s multiple financial personalities. To help her accomplish this each personality (role),you will need to use specific websites to assist in developing the financial plan. Each personality (role) will also need to review and analyze her expenses and current income. To begin your journey in financial planning, you will need to get into groups of 4. After you have reviewed these terms and chosen 1 out of the 4 personalities above, you are ready to begin.
