Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are a major health concern nationwide and remains a public challenge. The public needs to be re-eduacated regarding the disease process and risk factors associated with the disease. The impact of contracting these diseases have both psychological, physical and economical consequences, that can be quite burdensome not just to those afflicted with the disease but their families and the institutions caring for them. There are many (STDs) however we have chosen to educate you on the folowing four diseases ( HIV, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and HPV). The nursing students enrolled in the program will give the presentations.
