Verbal Linguistic

• Thrives from conducting the power point presentation.

• Enjoys writing for the presentation and comprising the discharge packet.

• Reading the linked sources from the web pages.

Visual/Spatial

• Learns best when adding pictures and graphics to the power point slide.

• The illustrations charts and graphics in this web quest will appeal to this type learner.

Logical/Mathematic

• This type of learner will utilize problem solving and critical thinking techniques when engaging in the Case Scenarios for the MI patient.

• They will appreciate the organization and process of this web quest. 

Musical/Rhythmic

• Heart sounds are rhythmic, normal heart sounds have a certain pattern to the sound "lub dub, lub dub" Abnormal heart sounds also have a pattern and distinct sound indicating that there is a problem.  This learner will have a knack with differentiating the normal and abnormal sounds.

Bodily/Kinesthetic

• Learns best when engaged in hands on activity.  

• This learner will appreciate the typing, taking on one of the roles of nurse, dietician or wellness coordinator, while assembling the discharge packet.

Intrapersonal    

• This Web Quest has some activities so this type of learner could work independently, such as gathering information individually for their individual roles.  

• In addition they have to complete the questionnaire and give a presentation. 

Interpersonal

• Will learn best with the group activities:  Power Point Presentation, Case scenarios activity, working together to comprise the discharge packet.

Naturalist

• The students who learn best with this style will effectively categorize the and organize the discharge packet and the MI disease process.

• They will enjoy observing the meaning of the patterns in the world around them.  The students will utilize this Web Quest to locate the topics of maintaining a healthy diet an understanding the nature of cardiac disease.
