The Passaic County Science League, in conjunction with the American Museum of Natural History, is proud to announce the first annual competition for aspiring anthropologists. This county wide competition is offered to all high schools and high school students in grades 9-12 in Passaic County. Each high school must select one team of four students to represent their high school in a final presentation to be held at Wayne Hills High School on May 5, 2008. The winners will then represent Passaic County in the competition held at the American Museum of Natural History, New York, New York on May 26, 2008. The American Museum of Natural History is offering a $5,000.00 scholarship to each of the members of the team winning team that plans on pursuing an education in archaeology or a related field.
ANNOUNCEMENT

Place: Wayne Hills High School Auditorium
Participants: Full time high school student enrolled in a Passaic County High School
Judges: Panel composed of Department Chairmen/Women from science and social studies departments in Passaic County High Schools, American Museum of Natural History representative, Professors from Passaic County Community College, Ramapo College and William Paterson University.
Entries: Schools wishing to participate in the competition, must submit their intent to enter by email to hbell@wayneschools.com no later than April 15, 2008.
