Usage of Class Time Class time was used effectively during each class period. Some of the class time was used effectively, but some refocusing was necessary. Class time was used poorly, or classmates were distracted often due to lack of focus.  
Collaboration within Group Student did not work effectively with others. Student cooperated with others, but needed prompting to stay on-task. Student was an engaged partner, listening to suggestions of others and working cooperatively throughout lesson  
Completion of Background Info Worksheet Several portions of the background info. worksheet are not completed. Some portions of the background info. worksheet are not completed. All portions of the background info. worksheet are completed.  
Completion of Number System Worksheet Several portions of the number system worksheet are not completed. Some portions of the number system worksheet are not completed. All portions of the number system worksheet are completed.  
Created Number System Number System created by the team is original, explained, and has examples in use. Number System is missing either originality, explanation, or examples. Number System is missing more than one component: originality, explanation, or examples.  
Presentation Board- Explanation Explanation is difficult to understand and is missing several components OR was not included. Explanation is a little difficult to understand, but includes critical components. All expectations of the presentation board are explained in detail.  
Presentation Board- Organization The work appears sloppy and disorganized. It is hard to know what information goes together. The work is presented in an organized fashion but may be hard to read at times. The work is presented in a neat, clear, organized fashion that is easy to read.  
Final Question Final Questions is not completed at all. Final Question is either late, and/or answered incompletely with mistakes. Final Question is emailed to teacher within time limit, and is answered completely without spelling or grammar errors.
