Process

Before you begin your voyage into space, you each need to pick a task.

There are four different tasks:

1. The Navigator's  job will be to find out the size of the planet and its distance from the sun.

2. The Scientist's job will be to determine the planet's temperature and the number of rings it may/may not have.

3. The Astrologer's job will be to find out the number of moons the planet has and the color of the planet.

4. The Explorer's job is to determine if there is life on that planet and what the planet's atmosphere is made up of.

Once your team has picked your tasks, you will then print out your job sheet below and begin your voyage to your planet!!

Navigator Data Sheet Astrologer Data Sheet

Scientist Data Sheet Explorer Data Sheet

After your voyage, you and your team will meet to discuss all the data you collected.

You will then write a paragraph about your planet.  Remember to include all the details that you found.

After your paragraph is completed, you will draw a picture of your planet including all the data that your team collected.

Lastly, you will present your journey (paragraph and picture) to Mission Control (your peers)!
