Dear Students,

Your teacher has gone fishing for the day.  Today is the only day we have to plan our class field trip.  Based on our classroom discussions for our field trip, I have narrowed the places down to two choices; The Bronx Zoo or The Franklin Mineral Museum.  I have decided that you are going to choose our field trip destination.

It is important for you to consider the following information as you make your decision.  Working as a group, you need to research information about each of the two places, price of each field trip, activities we will take part in while we are there and transportation.  You will need to use the websites and the help worksheets that I have provided for you.

In order to convince me of your choice, you must prepare a travel brochure for the place you have chosen to have the best value and learning experience.  In the brochure, you must tell me about the attractions and activities we will be doing on the field trip, what kind of transportation we will be taking, and the final cost of the field trip.  Remember to make your brochure colorful and attractive.

Good luck! I know that this is a big responsibility, but I know you can do it!
