1.  As a result of completing the Web-Quest, the students will be able to do the following:

Goals & Objectives

  • SWBAT research the elements that make life possible on Earth such as water, food sources, oxygen, and temperature control.

  • SWBAT create a controlled environment to make life possible on Mars.

  • SWBAT replicate the living conditions of Earth on Mars.

  • SWBAT present their findings.


2. As a result of completing the Web-Quest, the students will have produced the following:

Curriculum Standards

Science

  • STANDARD 5.1: All students will develop problem-solving, decision-making and inquiry skills, reflected by formulating usable questions and hypotheses, planning experiments, conducting systematic observations, interpreting and analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and communicating results.

Language Arts

  • STANDARD 3.3: All students will speak in clear, concise, organized language that varies in content and form for different audiences and purposes.

  • STANDARD 3.5 All students will access, view, evaluate, and respond to print, non print, and electronic texts and resources.

 

3. As a result of completing this Web-Quest, students will have:
