TIPS TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN BUYING A COMPUTER

 

  • Check the warranty

  • Check the upgrade ability. 

  • Do you want a MAC vs. PC?

  • What is the speed (how fast is it)?

  • How much memory does it have?

  • Should you buy new or refurbished?

  • Does it have CD and/or DVD drives?

  • How much space does the hard drive have?

  • How much memory does the computer have?

  • What software does the computer come with?

  • Will you be able to play the games you want on your computer?

  • Do you need to increase the sound cards (to allow for more speakers)?

  • Will your computer need a network card (be able to connect to other computers)?

  • If you do buy a refurbished computer, check to make sure no damage has been done.
