Purpose
  • Record and track hours worked each week


  • Record gross wages, deductions, and net wages weekly


  • Determine what portion of wages is withheld for tax purposes


  • Retain proof of wages

Objectives
  • The student will:
    • Provide proof of wages weekly or bi-weekly
    • Record hours and wages in Excel spreadsheet
    • Record gross wages, deductions, and net pay in separate spreadsheet

    • Graph information from each spreadsheet


    • Determine if he/she is progressing toward year end goal of 550 hours in a timely manner

    • Gross wages
      • Including monthly and year to date totals
    • Graph hours worked
      • Determine if student is on target for goal of 550 hours
