| The goal of the website is to guide teachers on the topic of French Impressionist art through the use of internet resources to improve and enrich students’ understanding of Impressionism within the context that it was created, relative to the time, place, history and artist. The website contains resources within the site, provides links to articles, images, additional websites, and a sample module that demonstrates how to create a relationship among key events, influences and the creation of art. Teachers then design modules for incorporation of visual arts: either within the classroom, in conjunction with the school art program, or the integration of art across the curriculum. A self scoring rubric for teachers allows for the evaluation of their modules and encourages reflection after teaching for improvement and new ideas. |
