  • Day 3:  Analyze 5 scatter plots algebraically


  • Day 4:  Create scatter plots in Excel and compare information


  • Day 5:  Test on Scatter Plots and Comparing Data

  • Where to gather information

  • Pick 5 cities


  • Find total precipitation for each month in one year.

Solving Algebraically

  • Plot information on a scatter plot.


  • Pick two points


  • Find the slope of the points


  • Put back into the equation y = mx+b


  • Solve for ‘b’.
