The Process

  1. First, you'll be assigned to a team of 3 students.  Each student in the group has a specific role, but you must all work together to create a final project and presentation to teach your classmates about your state and region of the United States. 

  2. After picking a role, you need to think about how you want to arrange your research, based on the tasks you have to complete.  Click on each "expert" on the task page.
  3. Once you have worked with your group to cooperatively find the information for your section you will work together to create a map of your state or  a travel brochure that incorporates each person's work to teach your classmates.

  4. BROCHURE: Each brochure should contain information that each expert has researched and pictures that pertain to your state. Make sure to work neatly and proofread your work before handing it in. Go to evaluation page for more information on what each brochure will be evaluated on.

  5. MAP: Each map should contain each of the experts information on it. Ex. the historical expert should include the state capitol, recreational expert should include points of interests (parks, etc.), and the geographical expert should include any major rivers, mountains.
