Introduction

Dear Family,

Your child is learning  how to use pictures to understand what happens in a story.

Goldilocks by James Marshall

The children have enjoyed listening to the traditional story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears  by James Marshall.  We have shared the story and the events of this classic story in school.

I have sent home, in a "Take Home" backpack, a teddy bear folder, our classroom bear and a new story version  called Somebody and the Three Blairs  written by  Maureen Tolhurst.

IIn this children’s book, the three bears are replaced by people and Goldilocks is a bear, named Somebody.  Similar events take place, only the characters change.

Somebody and the Three Blairs by Maureen Tolhurst

Please read and share the story.

Complete the Scavenger Hunt  activity with your child.

Return the backpack on or before Friday.

Have Fun!
