Prerequisite: This Home-School Connection should be assigned after reading one or more classic stories of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Children should be aware of the characters and sequence of events in the classic story. Saturate room with teddy bears, books, posters, etc.
Target Audience: Kindergarten students and family members. This is a computer-based home assignment.
Time Frame- One week: Students will receive the "Take-Home Backpack" on Monday which will be returned on Friday.
Materials Needed: Materials needed should be in a small backpack.
Small backpack with the following:

1. Cover letter - Refer to sample below
2. Storybook: Somebody and the Three Blairs written by Maureen Tolhurst
3. Teddy Bear Folder: For students' completed Scavenger Hunt activity
4. Small Teddy Bear - optional
