Plant Life in the Rainforest

About Ferns

Ferns are plants that produce spores. Spores are small reproductive units that allow a fern to reproduce without pollination.  Most grow in damp, shady places, but some grow in dry soil and rocks.  Some are air plants that grow on other trees.  Ferns come many different shapes and sizes, some are very small and others can be large bushes.
