How to View Two Screens at a Time

   Do you have an assignment to ftp?   Does a computer problem require that you read the directions from the HELP MENU while attempting the steps to solve?  Would you like to Instant Message your friend while checking your bank statement?  The list is endless AND the solution is not always to minimize your work.  After a few simple steps, you'll be a split screen master.

Before beginning, please direct your attention to the top right corner of computer monitor.  You will see three squares:

When screen is maximized, however, the middle square will indicate 2 overlapping boxes.  You will be using this center choice for this lesson.  Click Here for additional assistance. 

                     1.  Locate your 1st program/screen of choice, left click on it.  Choose middle option

                        to shrink.

                    2. Choose 2nd screen and follow the same protocol as in #1.

                    3.  Use the mouse to enlarge/reduce each screen. You may decide to display

                    vertically or horizontally.

                     4.  You now can multi-task with more ease.  Enjoy and tell a friend.
