Computer Lab

Location: Christopher Columbus Middle School, Room A2 - Basement Classroom
Student Population: Basic Skills Math Students 6th, 7th, and 8th grades
Existing Conditions: CCMS is equipped with T1 cables. Drop lines will be available
for classroom usage. Routers and hubs are not necessary.
Rationale for Need: Traveling teachers are unable to utilize the technology in math lessons
as computers, mice, monitors, and programs are not available, functioning, or
fully capable. Next year's schedule allows most BSI math teachers usage
to A2. Installing a computer lab will benefit the entire class. Math scores
will continue to increase as appropriate activities will motivate the learner.

The teacher workstation will keep student records (new Realtime
Grading system), create activity sheets, assessment materials,
newsletters for parents, and much more.
