Can You Help?
A Guide for Parents
As a parent it is sometimes difficult to know when to help your child with an assignment. No matter how many times a teacher may explain to their students that their assignments must be done by themselves or they will not come away from the experience having learned something, they will always look for help. As teachers we understand this because, believe it or not, they do the same thing to us as they do to you. We are just better at telling them they need to complete the assignment as best as they possibly can alone. We know that no parent wants to see their child struggle and when presented with the question of help, it is hard to turn your child away. This page is here to guide you through your trouble when your child asks for help. They may need help with the Charlotte's Web and The Hundred Dresses activities. The children will be doing all of the culminating activities at school on their own. Click on the pictures below to help you along with both of the books!
