Welcome to the web page of Jimmy Scalia. Jimmy scalia is a record producer who is known as the "official Bobby Darrin archivist". He has done work for some very talented and interesting people. Jimmy loves music so much that it has become a way of life for him.. "Life, as does music, begins with a beat." Along with many styles of music and artists that Jimmy has respect for, the one he most admires would have to be Bobby Darin. Just the sheer determination and versatility of one man can be so inspirational to others.

After Jimmy started work for Buddy Greco, he then met Steve Blauner. If you don't know who who Steve Blauner is, you should! Steve Blauner was not only manager to Bobby Darin, but to Dick Haymes as well. Steve Blauner was very close to Sammy Davis Jr. also. Jimmy and Steve continue to work as partners when it comes to collecting material. Jimmy states, " The generosity he shows to my family and myself is staggering!"

Jimmy has been asked to make several appearances, such as at "The Song Writers Hall Of Fame" in June of 1999. He has met many celeberities in the process of working with the Bobby Darrin Estate. He has recieved some very heartfelt Thank You's and has also been mentioned in several articles.

As a result of all his networking and hard work, Jimmy began to produce. You can read about all of his productions by clicking here! He received credit in the liner notes of several Bobby Darin CD's. He has produced Cd's and Dvd's.He has provided material to academy award winning actor Kevin Spacey and his staff for the major motion picture tiled "Beyond The Sea". Presently, he is working on a Live Buddy Greco cd from the Sands titled "Absolutely! Ultimately! LIVE"


Jimmy is an active member in the "Society Of Singers" and "The Songwriters Hall Of Fame"
