Ms. Fischer's Proposal

With technology growing more and more everyday, having computer centers in the classroom has grown to be a norm.  Children love using the computer and it opens up their minds in a totally different perspective.  If it is to practice phonics skills, math skills, research topics, practice comprehension skills, children love being on the computer.  Currently my classroom is equipped with capabilities of a wireless internet, has a mounted smartboard and projector, a printer, three student computers, and one teacher computer.  I am proposing to increase the number of student computers to four.  Having the one extra student computer can enhance the time each student will have computer time.  It will also not limit center time groups to three children per group.  Learning for children is turned into such a different perspective with the use of computers.
