Timeline

Create a timeline that serves as an overview of The conflict between the U.S. government and the Native Americans. Be sure to include legislation and events that had a major impact on the outcome of the interaction between the two groups.

Instructions

• Timelines must include a minimum of 10 events

• Each event must be labeled with a date

• Use a title to name each event

• Use a caption to describe each event

• One picture or graphic for each event

Print and fill in the timeline chart. This will serve as an outline for your timeline. You must hand this in with your timeline.

Use one of the following programs to create your timeline.

Click on the program logo if you need help using any of the programs.
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Microsoft Publisher

After you have completed your timeline, you may begin working with your group. Click on Henry Dawes to go to the group work page.
