Activity 1:

 

bullet Choose an endangered animal  from the  endangered animal list.

 

bullet Use the animal facts outline to research your animal. The websites below will help you with the information you will need.

Activity 2:

bullet After you have completed the animal outline you will then research the animals habitat/biome. 

 

bullet You will use the habitat outline .  The websites below will help you find the information you will need.

 

bullet Remember, you will need both outlines to complete the next 2 activities.

Activity 3:

Now that you have complete your outlines, it is time to make your diorama.

The Diorama must include:

bullet

 The habitat of the animal you selected

 

bullet

A 3-D picture or small model of the animal selected

 

bullet

Other 3-D pictures or objects to show more plants, animals, and other things found in the habitat.

Please, remember to refer to your rubric so you can get the most points when creating your project.

Activity 4:

Your last activity is writing a story about your animal  and its habitat. Your story will include an animal character in which that animals behavior becomes important for its life in the story. The stories can be funny, adventurous or scary.   When you have finished your story you will share it with the class.
