Design Stage: Mechanics and Implementation
General Description of the site:
The site will contain information on how to add audio files to the Web pages using Flash and Dreamweaver. The instructions will be sufficient for the beginner user of Flash and Dreamweaver to be able to complete the task. Pages will include text instructions and images displaying the steps involved in the task. As a final piece the site might include a Flash movie of the entire process. In addition, the site will contain a quiz, which will test the knowledge users obtained from the instruction steps. The navigation of the site will be divided in to four major parts (pages):
- Home Page - This page will contain the introduction for the Flash, Dreamweaver and Podcasts, with appropriate images. The page will have information about the audio file formats that can be used as podcasts. It will also give general guidelines about the use of audio files on the web.
- Flash Steps - This page will contain instruction on how to import the audio file to flash from start to finish. Instructions will be supported by images (screen shots of the steps).
- Dreamweaver Steps - This page will follow the same layout as the Flash Steps page, this time explaining steps need to put exported Flash .SWF file on the Web page.
- Evaluation Page - This page will test the knowledge the users obtained from the process.
- Credits Page - Will credit the resources used on the Web site.
If a pages contains too much information for one page, it will be broken in to sections using Spry tabs.
