Project Proposal
Audience and Explanation
My project is designed for a Eighth grade students . . This will be used to supplement and enhance what is being taught in a
science unit on "The Properties of
Water". The children will be using this site in groups .
Expectations
As a result of this web the children will gain a better understanding of
"Water" as an unusual substance
with special properties .This will force them to think about the wonder of water
.
- How does ice float rather than sink ?
- How does water rise from the roots of a tree to the top ?
- How do insects walk on water ?
- Why do people become seriously ill ,or die if they go without water
(liquid) for weeks ?
- How would life in a lake be affected if ice sank and lakes froze from the
bottom ?

Color
I chose these colors -
because:
- According to http://www.wpdfd.com/wpdpal3.htm these colors all go together well.
- These colors look very similar to the original color to water and
it's surroundings .
Font:
I chose Slab Serif - these fonts are very
high on readability.
