Introduction

This is a first grade unit where the students will be learning about PLANTS.  They will learn how plants grow, and what resources they need. Different kinds of plants will be researched.  The students will learn about parts of plants and what foods come from plants.  By the end of this unit the students will have gained an understanding of why plants are important living things.
