Whittier School Resource Center Website |

Proposal: I am a special education teacher in Teaneck Public Schools who works in a very unique Resource Center setting. I often invite parents and teachers to sit in on a session with my students to get an idea of how the program is run. Due to work demands and scheduling conflicts, they are not often able to attend such a session. I would like to develop a website to better explain what we do in the Resource Center. It will be designed for parents and teachers to get a better sense of the philosophy, assessments, programs, and technology used in the Resource Center at Whittier School. This website will allow for me to update as more programs and technology is added.

| Audience: This site will predominantly be used by parents and teachers who have students in the Resource Center program. It may also be used for other resource Center teachers in the district who may want to get different ideas for programs and/or technologies.

| Color Scheme I decided to keep my color scheme and template consistent with that of the school district's website in hopes that my website will be hyperlinked on their site. I recreated the template for the Teaneck School District with some small changes. I made my template a little less busy for I only have a few links/pages on my website.
