Introduction to Technology Education
In 1992, the state mandated that by the completion of grade 8 all students
will be required to complete a minimum of one unit (40 weeks) of instruction

from learning to use tools and make products from woods, plastics and metals
to understanding systems of technology in the home and workplace. Systems
of technology in fields such as production, transportation, construction,

Several modules of technology will be covered:
-Engineering Design -Tools,
