Video Streaming  

With Discovery Education unitedstreaming, teachers gain access to a rich collection of more than 50,000 video segments from among 5,000 full-length educational videos from Discovery School and other award-winning producers -- with more than 1,000 new titles added every year.

To access clips or videos follow these step by step directions.

Step 1:

Go to www.unitedstreaming.com

Step 2:

Enter your user name and password (from your district)

Step 3:

Search by keyword, subject and grade, curriculum standard, or all available titles.

Step 4:

If you want to preview the video, you can click on "streaming" and it will allow you to see the clip or entire video to preview.

Step 5:

Click on the blue underlined video title you wish to view.

You will see the film listed in its entirety and below you will see clips from the film you can use.

Downloading clips can be more practical for use in the classroom.  All clips or videos are downloaded to our "Resource" file.  You can locate all to them in this file.

Step 6:

To create a playlist, you can click on "a" button next to the video clip.  This list will help you remember what you have used.  You can also burn a CD to keep as a permanent copy.

It is recommended that teachers "download later" to avoid tying up the server.  We advise teachers to do this before 8:30 or after 3:15.
