Computer Center Proposal

Being a Basic Skills Instructor for an elementary school, teaching Language Arts (reading and writing) and Math, K-5, requires me to work with students needing extra support.  I usually work with 4-5 students at a time.   I am proposing a computer work center, within my small classroom, where I can meet the needs of my students. 

Goals and Objectives:

Curriculum Areas:

    Language Arts:  Phonemic awareness, word families, grammar skills, reading/writing workshop, research reports

    Math:  Computation, 4 basic operations, problem solving (including writing in math), speedo games, Success Maker

    Technology:  Teach how to retrieve information on the internet and practice basic computer skills
