Infections in hospitals are a serious concern for both patients and healthcare workers alike. Controlling outbreaks of infections such as MRSA, and reducing the spread of nosocomial infections are critical and often life saving measures in hospitals.
To manage this outbreak of MRSA, each team will have three collaborating experts:
The Primary Care RN
The Infection Control RN
and The Mental Health RN
The team's job is to trace the possible route of transmission for the MRSA organism and to design and implement the plan of nursing care.
