Massachusetts historical sites was a webquest created for the fourth grade using an interactive map.  Students will be guided through various areas of the state and their historical significance.  They will be directed to other sites online to explore further about the historical site.  Students will also be expected to complete a worksheet on their own as well as a small group project which will be presented to the class about a specific historical site.

Some extension activities that may go along with this webquest are creating a tourist brochure, a map on how to travel to the historical sites, and/or a classroom trip to an actual historical site.
