Explorers of the Rainforests!

One and one-half acres of rainforest are lost every second!

We are losing 137 plant, animal and insect species every single day due to rainforest deforestation!

It takes one second for a human to blink an eye.  In that short amount of time, we are losing one and a half acres of the earth's rainforests.  In a twenty four hour period, we are not only losing hundreds of plants, animals and insects, but also medicines, food and other important natural resources - ones that CANNOT be replaced.

The future consequences of continued destruction of the rainforests are unimaginable...
