You have been challenged to defend the nursing profession against the governor's degradation! You will do this by working with a group to learn and present one nursing theorist's history, theoretical framework, concepts and definitions, and its application to the nursing process.

 

• All of you will communicate by using Web CT.  You will put all your work together and teach each other about what you've learned about the chosen theorist.

• You will present it in class through a PowerPoint presentation.

• You will also do a case scenario wherein you will show a patient situation and how a nurse will deal with this situation by utilizing the theory assigned. 

• You will also develop a hand-out listing the nursing theory's history, concepts & logic, major assumptions, theoretical framework & a nursing care plan utilizing the theory in practice.
