| In order to participate in the competition your newspaper must present today's news in such a way as to restore peace among the common people without inciting further chaos. In order to achieve this goal, group members must work individually and cooperatively to establish an accurate presentation of the day's news on March 16, 44 B.C. Remember, you will be competing with rival newspapers! Your group will create a layout and final edition to be presented to the judge. In fact, Rome has hired the Empire's most stringent critic to preside over the competition. Simonian Cowellicus will be judging each newspaper on the following criteria:
