Our Mission: Save The Lily Pond

Home	We will invite our mayor to class and teach him about the Life Cycles of frogs, dragonflies and giant waterbugs. If we can show him how important the pond is, he may agree that our Lily Pond must be saved from the shopping mall! Your goal is to teach our mayor about the Life Cycle of your pond creature by: 1. Selecting and researching a stage of the Life Cycle of a frog, a dragonfly or a giant water bug. 2. Sharing what you have learned about that stage with your classmates, as they will share their findings with you. 3. Identifying the stages of your creature's Life Cycle on a worksheet. 4. Gathering your information and creating your own illustrated book describing the Life Cycle of your pond creature. 5. Present your completed book to the mayor to convince him to not allow the pond to be destroyed. Our Plan!
