| Ryerson's Roots | The United States of America is a unique country in that most of its residents have arrived here from different countries fairly recently. You are a part of the history of immigration in the United States. Your goal is to interview your parents or any family member and to research a country of your cultural heritage. You will be using this site to enter a location and find your heritage country. You will then enter the following information into the balloon: Your first name only, the city and country of your heritage, the area of your country, the population, the highest point and the lowest point. (Don't forget proper units!) You will also download a flag of your heritage country. Please refer to the Home icon at our school. This will provide you with a sample to follow and information about the USA. So let's get busy making our mark on the world! |
