Hyper-Linking Narrative
![]() This hyper-linking narrative was created in Microsoft Word and has many supportive pieces that explain what it was like to travel on the Titanic. A hyper-linking narrative allows the students to click on vocabulary words and different pictures to travel to other learning pieces within the same document. The hyper-linking narrative begins with an overview of the Titanic's maiden voyage. While reading the opening paragraphs students will click on vocabulary words that connect directly to a glossary with pictures. Once the vocabulary is completed the students can click on a link that will allow them to hunt for words on a Word Find. As the students continue to read they will click on pencils to find their readers' response questions. The final component of the hyper-linking narrative is two graphs created in Microsoft Excel. The first graph shows how many people lost their lives on the Titanic, and the second graph indicates how many different nationalities where aboard the ship. I hope this website is informative as well as exciting. Download a copy of the hyper-linking narrative
