Biomes of the World  

Process

Biome Inc. has stated that they need hard working, intelligent fifth graders to work with their expert scientists. They need students to assist in a research project because they want families to travel to biomes and experience the beauty nature has to offer.  Biome Inc. feels fifth graders will be able to study the biome from a children's point of view and construct a PowerPoint presentation that will encourage families to travel to new and exciting vacation destinations. Biome Inc. is willing to work with Miss Pesile and pay the hardest working students with marbles.

1.  Your research team will consist of four members.  Team members will receive one job and one biome to study from Biome Inc.  It is your responsibility to take this job seriously and become an expert in your field.   

2.  Each member will be responsible for completing his or her own data questions. The answers to the data questions will later be used to create a PowerPoint slide.

4.  You may only use the website links provided under your job title to gather information.  You must write out the answers to your data questions in your science notebook.  You will find the sites and your data questions on the Resource Page!
