Introduction
The animals from the Bronx Zoo were wondering what it would be like to see 42nd Street. So they decided to sneak out, leave the zoo, and take in all the lights, excitement, and ambience! You were out with your parents and noticed a group of animals walking down the middle of 42nd Street. You beg your parents to follow them to see where they were going. After a fun and overwhelming day, the animals returned to the zoo very exhausted and worn out. Your parents follow them to the entrance of the zoo. The elephant was the first to arrive at the front gate. He noticed a large sign on the door telling all of the animals who left the Bronx Zoo that they were no longer wanted there signed by the... ...Zookeeper! The animals were in tears. They didn't want to leave the zoo, that was the only home they knew. You felt bad for the animals and knew that you needed to help them come up with a plan to be allowed to return to the Bronx Zoo.
