Advanced Technology in the Curriculum

 ~Introduction~

This Social Studies Unit was designed to be used in a fourth or fifth grade class.  This unit is designed to be implemented over a 15 week time period.  The unit focuses on various teacher and collaborative student based projects.  The overall goal is to answer the essential, unit, and content questions that were developed prior to beginning the unit.  
I have included various differentiated instructional activities that can be modified to meet the needs of regular education students as well as resource, ESL, and gifted and talented students.  Students will use a variety of hands-on tools including the Internet to complete their assignments.
