U.S. Studies Assignment

February is Black History Month.  To commemorate the achievements of famous African Americans you will be traveling the U.S. to see where they were born and to learn a little about them.  Taking a field trip in 7th grade around the U.S. was impossible in the days of Martin Luther King, Jr. but is possible now through the World Wide Web!  The directions are as follows:

1. Start by checking the rubric.
2. View the Example entries on the Mappler site.
3. Create your own entry.
4. Download the worksheet and complete the questions.
5. Prepare for your presentation.

Once each person in the class has added a point to the map presentations will begin.  Enjoy your trip!
