For 25 years, the Association for Children of New Jersey has been the voice for children, demanding action for children who have no power to wield, no vote to cast, no campaign contributions to make.

The Association for Children has a broad policy agenda which grows as research reveals new issues facing New Jersey families. Some of our top priorities include:

*Ensure high-quality preschool programs for all eligible children
*Enhance and increase child care subsidies for working families
*Expand the state Earned Income Tax Credit to help low-income families
*Improve access to health and dental care for children and families
*Reform the child welfare system to address needs of at-risk families
*Change the structure of state government to better meet children’s needs
*Revamp the juvenile justice system to offer more alternatives to incarceration
