Introduction
This Webquest was designed for third grade students. It is written for collaborative groups of three, however, you can double up on the travel advisor's job should the need arise. The number of children in your class will determine the number of states and groups needed to complete this Webquest. As a teacher you can be selective of the states you wish for them to study by the choices you put into the bucket.
Goals
To improve student knowledge of United States geography.
Objectives

Resources Needed
Students need access to:
- Computers and the Internet for research purposes, creation of the brochures, and oral presentations
- Resources such as non-fiction books and encyclopedias for state research
- Art materials for the travel brochure (A 12'x18' piece of paper, paints, markers, pencils, glue, etc.)
- Printer (preference would be a color printer)
Students need prior knowledge of:
- How to cut and paste in a Microsoft Word document
- Use of a Venn Diagram
