The following unit explores the "unique" characteristics of penguins.
Students will design a newsletter, slideshow, interactive game and a website.  They will explore various aspects of penguin life, from mating to survival.  Students will briefly visit topics such as endangered species, glaciers and icebergs.  The students will also have the opportunity to organize a fundraising project to support an endangered species.
Grading rubrics are provided for each student project.
