Goals & Objectives:

Students will complete individual tasks and then recreate a Cinderella story with their group including all of the story parts.

- Compare and contrast story plots, characters, settings, and themes.
- Participate in creative responses to texts (e.g., dramatizations, oral presentations).
- Recognize purpose of the text.
- Interpret information in graphs, charts, and diagrams.
- Ask how, why, and what-if questions in interpreting nonfiction texts.
- Discuss underlying theme or message in interpreting fiction.
- Summarize major points from fiction and nonfiction texts.

This activity incorporates various interactive forms of learning for all students. The students use a number of resources to research and respond. The students are held accountable through their individual roles, and then must learn to work as a team to create their new story.

Additional Cinderella Stories
The Cinderella story used in this web quest was one that many of us have heard when growing up.  There are many different variations to the story that come from all over the world.  The stories below are variations of this wonderful fairytale.
