The Meadowlands Environment Center was formed to increase the awareness and enjoyment of our vital ecosystem. In 2003, the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission and Ramapo College of New Jersey entered into a partnership in order to develop a comprehensive environmental education program for schools and the general public. The partnership encourages the use of the environment as a classroom and increases the awareness of available resources located in the Meadowlands.

The Meadowlands Environment Center has compiled educational programs for the grades K-12. Our team of experienced educators will introduce your students to a variety of topics while satisfying the NJCCCS. Utilizing inquiry learning and cross-curricular activities, you and your students will experience the best of these unique wetlands.
