Text Box: Students will be able to design a portion of the White House Garden as well as create a presentation about it.    The final presentation will include a Garden Design with explanations and historical references on gardening traditions of the White House.    Each team of three students will account for all states in the tri-state area: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut.   Every team will research to find out state  trees and flowers of the above named states as well as historical trees currently planted on the White House grounds.   As a team, you will decide on the quantity of trees and flowers you wish to plant, accounting for the price of each plant and keeping your overall cost within the budget.   The trees and flowers of your choice will be included in the final garden design and your team presentation about it.
