In order to enter the contest you and your group must send U2 your lyrics and CD cover.

Individually you will:

1) Complete a Lyric Expert Worksheet.

2) Complete a worksheet on one of the hardships that a slave faced.

3) Compose a 6 line verse about the hardship you research for an Anti-slavery song following rhyme scheme.

4) Collect three images related to the hardship you researched to be evaluated by the group and used on the CD cover.

As a group you will:

1) Formulate a refrain.

2) Put verses together to create your lyrics.

3) Create the CD cover.
