You will choose one of the four specialty roles and take a position either for or against the energy conversion.
Your position for or against will be assigned to you.

Each team member will:
- research and answer the questions in your individual task.
- create a facts sheet by answering the questions asked in your specific area of expertise.
- research using the links of resources that are provided.
- share your findings with the other specialists within your group.
- write an individual summary paragraph stating your personal position on
the conversion
As a team of specialists:
- present your findings at the town meeting.
- take a unified position.
- develop a creative, informative and persuasive PowerPoint presentation
using your fact sheets.
- each member is responsible for preparing three slides in the presentation.
Town meeting:
- will use a modified debate format in the
classroom presentations.
- the PowerPoint presentations will alternate
the positions for and against conversion to coal.
